Early Years SENCO Level 3
A Department for Education funded, accredited NCFE qualification for SENCOs in early years settings.
NCFE Level 3 qualification • Around 6 months • Fully funded by the DfE for eligible settings
About the programme
Every early years provider is required to have arrangements in place to identify and support children with SEND and to promote equality of opportunity, as set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework. The Early Years SENCO Level 3 qualification gives early years SENCOs the knowledge, understanding and skills to meet those requirements with confidence.
The programme is accredited and fully funded by the Department for Education, with thousands of funded places allocated through to 2028, prioritised in line with Department for Education guidance on greatest need and impact.
You’ll study fully online over around 6 months, through taught sessions, online study units, group discussion and mentoring, designed to fit around work in a busy setting.
