Universal and Targeted Provision for SLCN

Commit to just 100 hours of academic tuition across your trust and receive six hours of attendance mentoring free.
TP Tutors combines targeted tuition with online attendance mentoring to address learning gaps, engagement and the wider barriers to education. The 100 hours can be pooled across your trust and directed to the priority learners, cohorts or subjects where need is greatest, online or in person. Once the tuition is delivered, six one-hour mentoring sessions begin for a consistent group of up to six learners.
How it works:
- Commit – to 100 hours of academic tuition, online or in person
- Deliver – use the tuition across your schools by the end of the current academic year
- Mentor – six one-hour online sessions begin once tuition is delivered
What you get:
- Targeted academic support to close gaps, consolidate learning and rebuild confidence
- Structured space for pupils to understand the barriers affecting attendance, identify practical strategies and strengthen their engagement with education
- Flexible delivery pooled across your trust, so central teams can direct hours to the schools under most pressure
- Specialists trained in safeguarding, and in Speech & Language Link and Thrive-informed techniques
- Managed coordination and quality assurance, with LEAP reporting on attendance, engagement and progress at pupil, cohort and trust level
100 hours of tuition = 6 free mentoring hours
One trust-level agreement, with mentoring delivered online for a consistent group of up to six learners.
